The VSA Scholarship is set up to recognize Vermont swimmers for their accomplishments within the sport of swimming. The scholarships will be awarded to swimmers who have displayed the greatest dedication and excellence within the sport. To be eligible for the award, an applicant needs to be a graduating high school senior or have graduated high school, swimming in the current summer swim season, and planning to continue his/her swimming career into college.
The VSA has set aside $1,800 for scholarship awards. Depending on the number of worthy candidates, this may mean several large or multiple small scholarship amounts. A committee comprised of VSA representatives will review and choose the recipients.
